JWB 50mm Bump Stop Extension Kit

Vitara, X-90 & Grand Vitara 1988-2005 JWB 50mm Bump Stop Extension Kit.
 
Here we offer a different and more simple option to our 50mm body lift kit. This extended bump stop kit allows 31 inch tyres to fit on the SE and SV series Suzuki Vitara with also adding 15x7 -12 steel rims available through us.
 
This kit also works in the SQ series Grand Vitara 1998-2005 but won't allow 31 inch tyres without rubbing due to no aftermarket steel rims available to change the off-set.
 
We recommend also installing one of our suspension lift kits to increase ground clearance and to increase the down travel of the suspension using extended struts and shock absorbers. Our suspension kits don't allow bigger tyres than 29 inch unless combined with our bump stop extension kit or 50mm body lift kit.
 
This combination and also some small hammering to the rear lower section of the front wheel arches as well as adjusting bump stops means you can fit big 31 inch tyres! 
 
To install: Remove your springs and unscrew your original bump stop, then screw in your new bump stop extensions followed by your original bump stop and re-assemble the suspension. The front springs are approximately half way between the control arm joint on the chassis and the wheel hub, making them 1:2 ratio, so they use a 25mm extension to make the up travel limited by 50mm. The rear springs are 1:1 ratio so they use the 50mm extension to make the up travel limited by 50mm.
